Can I switch plans?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from inside the app or through the App Store. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period.
Is there an annual option?
Yes. You can switch to annual billing inside the app (Premium: $32.99/year, Family: $47.99/year) and save over 30% compared to monthly.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Roux will let you know and give you the option to upgrade. Nothing is deleted — your recipes, plans, and lists are always safe.
Can multiple people use one Family plan?
Yes. The account holder invites up to 4 others by email. Once they accept, everyone shares one set of recipes, meal plans, and the grocery list.
What counts as a cooking session?
Any time you start a voice-assisted cook session from a recipe. Browsing recipes, editing them, or generating shopping lists doesn't count.
Do unused sessions roll over?
No. Monthly limits reset at the start of each billing period.
How do I cancel?
Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Roux and tap Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
